The company previously operated the sturdy, Soviet-made hydrofoils, commonly known in Greece as "flying dolphins". However, the high demand for modern ferries and the increasing passenger traffic, rendered these 110-passenger capacity vessels impractical for operation, leading to their obsolensce.

With three fast catamarans, each named after a beautiful flower, Fanos offers frequent connections between Greece and Turkey. It is the evolution of Phoenix Marine and Dodecanese Flying Dolphins companies.


Fanos operates popular routes between Greece and the Turkish coastline, linking Kos with Bodrum, Rhodes with Fethiye, Symi with Kusadasi, and Kalymnos, Leros, and Patmos with Turgutreis during the summer months.
