A pristine beach with turquoise water is dotted with numerous straw umbrellas and orange lounge chairs, where people relax and enjoy the sunny day. The tranquil scene showcases a popular vacation destination.

KARDAMENA

Once known for its ample nightlife, Kardamena offers some of the island’s most enchanting and Blue Flag awarded beaches.

The small port found on the settlement makes access easy and convenient, whereas the several waterfront coffee n’ food options makes it an ideal choice for daily excursions.

Here, you may enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure. If you are determined to spend the whole day onboard, you may head towards the spot between Therma and Kardamena called Agia Irini, found as a separate trip recommendation below.

A secluded sandy beach is nestled between rugged, earthy-toned cliffs and a tranquil turquoise sea. Large rocks are scattered along the shoreline, contrasting with the smooth sand and gently lapping waves.

KARDAMENA TOWN

Kardamena is widely regarded as Kos’s number one party destination, boasting bars and clubs that stay open long into the morning.

Chances are, if you’re in the area and looking for an action-packed night out, you’re heading to Kardamena.

The majority of Kardamena’s nightlife scene is clumped together. Most people start out at the bars on aptly-named Bar Street, before heading out to the clubs along the harbour. It doesn’t get quite as rowdy as other Greek party resorts like Malia and Laganas, but what it does, it does well.

What Kardamena is particularly good for is variety – it’s known here that the bars each have their own distinct flavours, from karaoke stints to beer-focused, sporting matches playing on TV to cocktail-heavy drink lists.
